The The Barry Robinson Center (BRC) was established over 70 years ago as The James Barry Robinson Home For Boys, an orphanage and school built under the terms of a charitable trust left by Norfolk businessman Frederick J. Robinson. Changes in community need led to the evolution of a residential treatment center serving emotionally disturbed boys.
